The recent news says, in Tirupati the bookings for “Offering Vastram / God’s clothes” is already done upto the year 2042. (i.e. its booked for another 34 years).

But here the news is these are the Vastrams (Dhoties / Clothes) used by Devotees who are having their “Viradham” to go for Swami Ayyappa’s Sabarimalai. The common shades are Black or Kaavi aka Orange. The devotees could be easily identified seeing these coloured dhoties, the malai they wear in their necks and the Sandal paste in their forehead.
