…. these caps called the Monkey Caps are the best friends for the chilly weather in this city of Chennai. Though now the smart Ear Plugs have found the young crowd using them, these caps still find the buyers as it covers the head, the ears and rests safely as a closed skull cap.
Seen at the platforms of the Chennai-1 …. in front of the Law College.
(Thanks all for the patronage)
Hi Ram,
Happy New Year to you.
Is there any sarcasm in selling these near Law College?
Seeing these caps I am reminded of comedy scenes in Tamil Cinema – the comedian or hero will wear this for scaring other characters. I also recollect those wonderful scenes in Kamal’s மூன்றாம் பிறை and Prakash Raj’s அபியும், நானும்.
Regards
R Sathyamurthy
Ram: Ha haa as usual you’ll have to see a different correlation to the cap & law college :).
They look quite warm (and colorful) – how cold is it there?
Ram: Thanks for visiting, its about 20 degrees (Celsius) out here, not very cold comparatively.
I think these caps are called elephant-cabs in Denmark!
Ram: Oh, Thanks for the Info Carlsen.
