India is one of the highest Gold consuming countries across the world. Kerala, according to my understanding, consumes gold in the form of jewelery to the maximum. Even in Tamilnadu the jewelery bought as lifestyle, investment, for marriages, for child birth or for that matter any excuse is quite high. So a Gold showroom is always expected to be flocked at various seasons.
