Marundeehswara Temple, the presiding deity is Lord Shiva called as Marundeeshwara or Aushadeeshwara. The temple is supposedly 1200 years old, sung by the famous poet Valmiki and also including Thirunavukkarasar & Thirugnansambandar. (Will post the Valmikinathar temple picture soon).

The temple tank is significant as Papanasini, the massive tank situated a little away from the eastern tower (Gopuram) of the temple.
