… is one angle for an historic building, making it utilised for a current usage gives more meaning to an old structure is my opinion.

The Portion of the facade of the Restaurant run by Krishna Sweets in Raja Annamalai Road, Near Pursawalkam is one such live example of an old architecture being used for a current & running business without demolishing it.
