The New Road/ Route between St Thomas Mount to Velachery, as seen from the Velachery Bridge. The Extension phase of MRTS from Velachery also goes along this road and joining the Metro Rail.

This is a well laid out road and for now very smooth. Only time can tell if the road has been laid with good material. It has so far withstood atleast two good rainy seasons!
