Traffic & Culture – 2

wm_NRM_0513
In continuation with the sculptures that came up in 2008, the city put up a few more in the Traffic islands. The intersections at Ramakrishna Mutt Road-Broadies Castle Road and Kamarajar Salai-Link Road also got one sculpture each in 2010. The pedestals hold sculptures portraying a dancing troupe, signifying the presence of the Government Music College closeby. A bull and elephant, the symbols of Sangam age, placed near Light House.
This is at R K Mutt Road and Broadies Castle Road Junction.
