The Notice (in Tamil) says (sic) "Chennai Corporation, Zone 5, Notice, The owner of this property has defaulted to pay the property tax to Chennai Corporation. Hence if they fail to clear the arrears, under Corporation Law 1919 section 375, Chennai corporation will take all necessary actions to collect the dues" (sic).

Not seen many such notices around, and also the earlier practice of paper notices have been done away with i see, with this vinyl print notice on the gate of the said property.
