The VG Panneerdas & Sons aka VGP used to be an household name among chennaiites a few years back when it came to Consumer Electronics and Theme parks (the famous Golden Beach in ECR). The, group founded in the 70’s, has not retained the top of the mind recall among the city dwellers now in both space’s.

Their HO for Consumer Goods still stands at Anna Salai opp Bata. (Called the Victory House).
