Lots of devotee’s in the city believe that performing a puja for the new vehicle at the Bodyguard Muneesawaran Temple at Pallavan Salai is the best bet to avoid accidents.

This temple is supposedly formed in 1919 when the labourers moved from North Arcot and the deity, which they brought, was consecrated at this site after a few skirmishes with the British.
