If not for INTACH, this structure wouldn’t have survived in 1994, when the State Police had plans to raze this heritage building for a Multi Storeyed Building to accommodate all departments of Police. Now standing elegantly on the Marina Beach, the DGP Office of Tamilnadu Police.
