With the rise in costs of Fuel prices, especially in the Airline Fuel, most of the Low cost carriers are facing drop in volumes of traffice. Mainly in the short haul routes like Chennai – Bangalore, Bangalore – Hyderabad etc. as the train looks faster, economical again. Especially with the new Airports are being constructed in the outskirts.
