The Government Central Press is now at Mint Street, Chennai 79. This is housed in the erstwhile Mint. The press caters to all state government departments and their notifications. Apart from this the State has Branch presses at Madras High Court, Madurai High Court, Vridhachalam, Pudhukottai, Madurai, Trichy & Salem towns.

Current Mints in India are at Mumbai, Alipore (Kolkatta), Saifabad (Hyderabad), Cheralapally (Hyderabad) & NOIDA (UP).
