… it means Water Kiosk, normally set during the summer times to help pedestrians, bullock cart riders and anybody who can’t afford / doesn’t like to spend on aerated drinks / bottled water etc. Many philanthropic groups also set up “Watery Buttermilk” (aka நீர் மோர்) kiosks along with these water booths.
