FabIndia, it’s first retail store opened in New Delhi in 1976. Today, Fabindia has 210 retail stores across India, 2 stores in Singapore and Dubai and 1 store each in Italy, Nepal, Malaysia and Mauritius. It links over 55,000 craft based rural producers to modern urban markets, thereby creating a base for skilled, sustainable rural employment, and preserving India’s traditional handicrafts in the process.
