Typrewriters, Typewriting institutes and the allied commercial activities are almost non-existent. Erstwhile we’d be approaching such shops for making our CVs, making letters for companies etc. and learning typewriting when you finish 10th standard or so was almost mandatory.
Now with the advent of newer technologies, such FACITs, REMINGTONs are now collectors items.
Real typewriters are not very common these days. Don’t you remember how the keys felt though? I loved typing on a typewriter. 🙂
