SERC (Structural Engineering Research Centre) , under the aegis of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) has a wonderful facility to test Towers & Tower like structures, this centre is part of their structural testing solutions for the Country. TTRS (Tower Testing & Research Station) is located at Tirisulam Hills opp the Airport.
They have a facility to test upto an height of 65 mtrs structures.
Ah, can’t say you didn’t wait! Haven’t done enough background on it yet, but you can be sure I’ll post the picture soon!
