The Campus named after பரிதிமாற் கலைஞர் aka V G Suryanarayana Sastri aka Dravida Sastri at the Madras University. The same university with which he fought not to exclude Tamil from their curriculum. He was a Professor in Tamil at Madras Christian College and died very early at the age of 33. Most importantly, he was the 1st petitioner to consider / make Tamil as a Classical Language.
