I recall these itinerant tailors from when I was a boy in Madras a long time ago. Back then it was not just repairs that they performed on clothes. At my grandparents’ house near Loan Square Park on Broadway, a tailor would come year after year before festivals and stitch clothes for everyone in the family. It is good to see some of the old charm of Madras still alive.
