They avoid egg, root vegetables-potato,onion, garlic; yeast, mushroom, honey. Also they do not eat refrigerated food. There are 6 types of jain cuisine- Gujarati, Marwari (Rajasthan), Bundelkhandi (central india), Agarwal (Delhi), marathi, Bunt (karnataka) .
