Kodambakkam Puliyur Masjid: This mosque is believed to have been constructed during the Arcot Nawab period. The word “Kodambakkam” is believed to have derived from the Urdu word Ghoda Bagh meaning “garden of the horses”. This masjid is near the Kodambakkam fly-over.
