Heard from one of them, that there 35-40 tailors, mostly from Kovilpatti and nearby villages staying in one mansion / hostel in Choolaimedu High Road. They start to various neighbourhoods, Vadapalani, Kodambakkam, Aminjikarai, Nungambakkam, T Nagar & Annanagar early morning and station themselves near the main junctions / street corners and mend the clothes brought by common people. All there sewing machines are quite sturdily wheeled. Spotted this g’man with his machine early Sunday near his hostel on his way to work.
