In a city where open defecation is a common menace, the way public toilets are used in Chennai might soon undergo a change.
The Corporation of Chennai has begun installing 300+ fully automated toilets across the city to promote better public health and sanitation. They are a mix of electronically operated bio-toilets as well as toilets meant for women.
