The Father of the leading newspaper in Tamil, Daily Thanthi (aka Thinathanthi … தினத்தந்தி) and of Dr Sivanthi Adithan, the erstwhile chief at the Indian Olympic Association. This is one of the statues in the city which is well maintained and well attended to, obviously by the founded newspaper group.
