Any sports events, public meetings, concerts need the crowd supporting them and not booing away. This gives an edge for the person who they woo for !! or sometimes it gives them nervousness too, by way of expectations.
Seen here is a group Cheering Somdev Devvarman, in the recent Chennai Open Finals.
Somdev did bring some cheers to the Indian Tennis fans.
It is good to see people cheering and in cheerful moods despite the global recession.
If Somdev had won the Chennai Open some of these fans might have headed straight to any nearby pub to say “cheers”!
