A Flower Wholesaler at the Koyambedu Wholesale Flower Market, Palaniappan, was seen deeply engrossed in the morning newspaper. Marigolds and other seasonal flowers are his main trade.

Ram : They are holy ash, after praying to god (hindu) to be applied to the forehead. (esp. in South India)
