Constructed (in June’2009) in memory of Dana Bergh, an American naval officer, the Rs 45 lakh-Dana Bergh Hall is the joint project of the Anna University and Rotary Club of Madras South. Classes and research works of students of Institute of Ocean Management for their master’s and doctoral thesis would be taken up at the new facility. It would also be used to hold environment-related consultancies, exhibitions and seminars.
